Exploring Creation – Our Grade R Trip to World of Birds

There’s nothing quite like seeing the world through the eyes of a five-year-old.

Our Grade R children recently enjoyed an unforgettable day out at World of Birds in Hout Bay… a trip filled with wide eyes, curious questions, and endless wonder.

For many of our children, this was their very first time seeing animals up close: bright tropical birds, curious monkeys, and even a few cheeky meerkats! These experiences are not just fun days out they’re essential parts of how our children learn.

Outings like these open their minds to the world beyond the classroom, helping them understand nature, kindness, and their place in God’s beautiful creation. They spark imagination, build vocabulary, and nurture empathy for living things… lessons that can’t be taught in books alone.

We’re so grateful to our teachers for making this possible and to our supporters who help fund these adventures. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us keep giving our children the experiences they deserve… experiences that shape their hearts and futures.
