Braai Day at Little Lambs: Smoke, Smiles and Over R3000 Raised!

On 29 May, something special happened at Little Lambs.

The smell of smoke drifted across the school, little eyes lit up, and our children sat down to something a little different for lunch... a proper braai. And it was everything.

Our annual Braai Day fundraiser brought our whole community together in the best possible way. Families pooled their contributions to fund a braai lunch for the children, and what unfolded was more than just a meal... it was a celebration of what makes Little Lambs so special.

The Children Stole the Show

Watching our Little Lambs enjoy their braai lunch was honestly the highlight of the day. Happy faces, full plates, laughter and the kind of joy that only comes from children who feel completely at home and completely loved.

They chatted, they played, they interacted with their friends in that wonderfully uninhibited way that small children do. It was a simple thing... a meal together... and yet it meant everything.

A Community That Shows Up

None of this happens without people who care.

To our fundraising team ... thank you for organising, coordinating and making the day run smoothly.

To our staff ... thank you for showing up with energy and love as you always do.

To our parents and families ... thank you for putting your hands in your pockets and your hearts into this day. Your contribution is never taken for granted.

And to our Little Lambs themselves ... thank you for reminding us, as you do every single day, exactly why we do this.

Over R3000 Raised

We are so thrilled to share that Braai Day raised over R3,000 for Little Lambs. Every rand goes directly back into the school... towards meals, resources, teacher training and keeping our doors open for the children who need us most.
